The Disability Ambassadors are a diverse group of students working to promote accessibility, inclusivity, and empowerment of disability identity. The group promotes disability as a valued aspect of diversity through student-led education and outreach efforts. This group is open to all students.
UF’s American Sign Language organization, Signing Gator aims to educate students and community members on topics relating to Deaf culture and American Sign Language (ASL) and provide opportunities to interact with Deaf or hard-of-hearing people, such as guest speakers from the local Deaf community. This group is open to all students.
This is a wheelchair basketball club that is open to all students. Equipment is provided.
This is an academic honors society for students with disabilities that is offered through the Disability Resource Center
Vocational Rehabilitation is a federal and state government program that can help people with disabilities find employment. This program can also provide financial assistance for college students with disabilities who qualify.
